Office Utopia began its life in 2010 as a bespoke in-house system, created and developed for VBS Support Limited & The ICT Practice.
Both companies had undertaken industry-leading, professional service-based IT accreditations. This meant certain regulations and guidelines were introduced alongside the companies’ already high standard of customer service, network management and lots and lots of critical documentation.
As our client and supplier base began to experience firsthand the advantages we were enjoying in managing our business and theirs, they wanted in! Looking again at the problem hindering many companies, as it did us, and the lack of solutions directly focusing on file management, we went to work.
We were very clear from the outset that our system should be tailored to support and develop the efficiency of our clients’ businesses - and not be packed with unused and poorly developed features to support the sales and marketing function of a product.
With a 15-year background of IT Consultancy and Support, we have seen file management as a problem for many businesses, of all sizes, over a variety of sectors.
